No, there are no VIP tickets available. Best available seats across all venues and both Ceremonies are always in Category A.

Can I buy a ticket for Ceremonies at the Baku Olympic Stadium on the day of the event?

Due to high demand there will be NO tickets available on sale for ceremonies at the same day of the event. If you have already purchased your tickets online, you can collect them the same day at Stadium Ticket Box Office by providing Purchase Confirmation (printed out or digital) and other required documents. In order to avoid long queues, we highly recommend you to collect your ticket(s) prior the event day at one of our City Ticket Outlets.

To purchase tickets online, you will need to register here and create your own account. Please note, to do so, you will be required to provide your ID details. After payment you will get a confirmation email with Ticket Purchase Confirmation attached in pdf format. What do the different seating price categories (A, B, C or D) mean?

Price categories are an indication of seat locations inside the venues. Most of the venues will have only one price category as they will have general admission seating (there will be no "assigned" seats). The exceptions are Baku Olympic Stadium (for Ceremonies only), Heydar Aliyev Arena, National Gymnastics Arena and Tofig Bahramov Stadium. There will be reserved seating at these venues. Reserved seating means each individual ticket will be assigned with a specific seat in the venue and the ticket holder should occupy that seat. Those tickets will have different price categories. The number of price categories offered per sport depends on the configuration and capacity of each venue. Category A represents the best seats in a venue with the highest price, Category B, the second highest price, and so on. All price categories for assigned seating venues are indicated on seating maps on the tickets page once you select a desired session.

Will any discount tickets be available?

Yes. There will be discounted prices for Heydar Aliyev Arena, National Gymnastics Arena and Tofig Bahramov Stadium for children between 2 and 16 years of age. Children under the age of two (born after or on 22.05.2015) will not require a ticket. They have to be kept on an adult's lap, without occupying a seat. The limit is one child per adult. You will be required to provide proof of age (birth certificate) both upon requesting complimentary tickets and entering the venue. If you are unable to prove eligibility for the complimentary ticket, you will be refused the entry to the venue and be redirected to the Ticket Box Office to purchase a full price ticket.

I live outside of Azerbaijan. Can I still buy tickets?

Starting from 19th March 2017, tickets for the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games will go on sale to the general public.
