Registration to Baku 2017, 4th Islamic Solidarity Games Volunteers closed on 11 December 2016. Thank you to everyone who registered for Baku 2017 Volunteers.
Every registered candidate will be invited for an interview; you should receive this invitation by email. After interviews and the selection process, we will announce the results in February and March. Training for successful volunteers will start in February. Before the training, you will receive all the information on your involvement in the Games (rehearsals required to attend, places and so on). According to their field, volunteers will attend Leadership training, training on Role and Venue, and General training for all volunteers. Volunteers are required to attend 3 rehearsals for an average of 2 hours each. This is not voluntary but a matter of necessity. Volunteers can also attend English language courses at the Volunteer Center, if they are interested in improving their language skills.
Volunteers are will need to work from 12th to the 22nd May and depending on your position, you may be required to start before the Games. Attendants of Baku 2017, 4th Islamic Solidarity Games Volunteers will get the opportunity to work in following areas during the Games:
• Arrivals and Departures • Accreditation • Ceremonies • Press Operations • Spectator Services • Sports • Technology • Transport • Venue Management • Athletes Village • Workforce • National Olympic Committees • Security • Protocol
Volunteers’ work schedule and working fields will be announced in April/May 2017. During the Games all participants of Baku 2017 Volunteers will get unforgettable experience and invaluable opportunity to represent Azerbaijan in the international arena.
