On April 5th, HRH Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, President of Islamic Solidarity Sport Federation visited Baku and the Azerbaijan Islamic Solidarity Games Operations Committee (AISGOC).
The Islamic Solidarity Sport Federation (ISSF) is the organization responsible for the management and supervision over the Islamic Solidarity Games. The ISSF is part of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (previously known as Organisation of the Islamic Conference) and includes 57 countries from 4 continents, making it the second largest organisation in the world after the UN.
The President of ISSF, HRH Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, met members of staff and learnt about the progress of the Games. Joining the President on his visit to AISGOC were Chingiz Huseinzadeh, NOC vice-president, Bahram Afsharzadeh, Esteghal football club manager, Salim Ssenkungu Musoke, staff member of Uganda National Olympic Committee and President of Wrestling and Powerlifting Federation and Idriss Dokony Adiker, president of Chad National Olympic Committee.
The representatives of the delegation then attended the launch event for the "Journey from the Caspian" which was held at the Stone Chronicle Museum last night. During his time in Baku, the ISSF President will also take part in six sports draw on April 6th and a press conference and Anti-Doping events on 7th April.
