Azerbaijan has proven to be a successful host of many international and regional events and competitions, including 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, 2015 Chess World Cup 2015 and Inaugural European Games in Baku 2016 has also been an outstanding year, seeing this beautiful country host F1 European Grand Prix, World Chess Olympiad, UEFA European Under-17 Championship finals and UEFA European Football Championship (three group games, one quarter-final). With the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games on the Horizon in 2017; Azerbaijan truly is a unique country that welcomes all.
