For most of the sport events except for those at Heydar Aliyev Arena (Judo/Blind Judo and Wrestling), National Gymnastic Arena (Gymnastics sessions) and Tofig Bahramov Stadium (Football matches) there will be complimentary tickets for children between the age 2 – 16. Tickets will be available for pick up at any City Ticket Outlet or Venue Box Office. A birth certificate will be required for a complimentary ticket collection. For Gymnastics, Judo & Blind Judo, Wrestling sessions and Football matches at Tofig Bahramov Stadium children’s tickets (2-16 years old) will be available for purchase on the Baku 2017 Ticket Sales web page or at any City Ticket Outlet or Venue Box Office. A birth certificate will be also required for the collection of children’s tickets.
The children ticket price for all these competitions is 1 AZN. For Ceremonies, there will be no complimentary tickets for children. There are no age restrictions for attendance at the Ceremonies although due to the loud music and sound we highly recommend children under the age of seven not to attend the event for your own convenience.
Please note that Ticket Holders under sixteen (16) years old can attend a Session only when accompanied by an adult (18+) who has a Ticket and a valid ID.

If your tickets are to be picked up by someone else other than you, you will need to provide him/her with a special Authorization Form, signed by you, entitling him/her to pick up the ticket(s) on your behalf. They must present the Authorization Form along with their photo ID, a Ticket Purchase Confirmation and a copy of your valid photo ID at any City Ticket Outlets or Venue Ticket Box Offices. What if my tickets get lost/stolen/damaged?

Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games sports have a set of criteria which athletes and teams must meet in order to obtain qualification slots for the Games. The draws for individual and team sports will not take place until all qualifying events are completed. Team sports draw will take place on 6th April, 2017. Please check the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games competition schedule to find the latest updated information relating to qualification. In addition, during the Games all the sport competition results will be available on-line at the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games official website Please note that as in all major sport events, tickets for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals will be in high demand.

Transportation to the Venues
No parking for spectators will be available in the competition venues. No parking will be allowed around the competition venues except for residents parking permit holders. Spectators are strongly encouraged to use only the Metro and public buses to arrive and depart from the venues. Visit www.baku2017.com for more information after 1st May 2017.

Transport - Finding Information
Where can I find all the Games-related transport information?
All the Games-related transport information will be available on our regularly updated www.baku2017.com website and Facebook page, 2017 Games Spectator Information Centre, as well as communicated by relevant agencies (Baku Transport Agency, Road Police etc.).
In addition, transport related news will be communicated to the public through radio, TV, online platforms and other relevant communication channels.

When will express bus services for Opening and Closing Ceremonies operate?
During the Opening Ceremony day, Express Buses will operate from 18:00 to 21:00 to the Baku Olympic Stadium and from the end of the Ceremony to 2:00. And during the Closing Ceremony day from 17:00 to 20:00 to the Stadium, and from the end of the Ceremony to 2:00.
Where in the city are the express bus departure points / stops?
Express Buses will be transporting ticketed spectators free of charge from 20 Yanvar Metro Station (next to Velotrek sports complex – X 3), Ganjlik Metro Station (entrance of Caspian Shopping Center – X2) and Gara Garayev Metro station (X1) to the Olympic Stadium.

Public Transport
How can I reach the competition venues?
Spectators are expected to use regular public transport (metro and buses) during the Games to reach the competition venues.
“No parking” policy will be implemented at all competition venues.
For the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, metro and express bus services will be organized. They will be free of charge for the ticketed spectators. All ticketed spectators should present a valid ticket or ticket purchase confirmation for free ride.
Metro will be in operation from 6 AM to 2 AM during the Opening and Closing Ceremony Days, and from 6 AM to 1 AM during the rest of Islamic Solidarity Games dates.
All spectators are expected to pay for metro and bus rides, in exception of Opening and Closing Ceremony days.
Taxis will not be allowed to enter around the competition venues.
Detailed information on public transport serving competition venues will be on www.baku2017.com after 1st of May.
Will the public transport have extended operating hours?
Yes, during the Games, Baku metro and Baku city public transport buses will operate on an extended work schedule (from 6 am to 1 am) in order to efficiently serve the public transport users and spectators.
Traffic measures
How will the Baku transport network be affected by the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games?
To ensure safe and efficient transport operations during the Games, some important traffic management measures will be applied.
These traffic management measures have been planned to ensure minimal disruptions to the normal city life.

Will any roads be closed?
During the Opening Ceremony day on 12 May, and during the Closing Ceremony day on May 22, some roads will be closed in the afternoon to general traffic: Heydar Aliyev avenue (starting from the road junction in front of the Excelsior Hotel until Sabunchu roundabout).
In addition, during the Games time, around all competition venues traffic and parking control zones will be applied, where movement and parking of regular cars without Games special permits will be restricted.
“No parking” policy will be applied within the parking control zones.
Residents living and businesses operating inside the traffic control zones will need to register and get special access permits from their relevant District Utility Departments.
How should I reach my home, if roads are closed?
Should there be any other road closures, the information on road closures and alternative routes will be disseminated primarily by the Road Police and via various communication channels (www.baku2017.com website, TV, radio, media portals, etc.).
In addition, Baku residents are strongly recommended to check AvtoRadio 107.7 FM regularly for up-to-date Games transport and traffic information as of April 14.
However, you are strongly encouraged to use public transport during the Games, rather than private car.
Do I need a permit to drive my car during the Games in the city?
No permit is needed to drive private cars during the Games in the city, except in the Games Lanes.
Will there be any parking restrictions during the Games?
Drivers should avoid illegal parking at all times. During the Games, there will be special Parking Control Zones around competition venues, where parking restrictions will be applied.
Relevant details will be communicated on www.baku2017.com website in due course.
Will there be extra traffic during the Games time?
During the Games time, there will be additional Games vehicles in the city, therefore, drivers are strongly encouraged to avoid using their private cars and use public transport instead, since the operation hours and frequencies of the Public Transport will be extended.
Where can I park my car at the competition venues?
There is no parking at the competition venues and along the roads around the competition venues. Spectators are required to use public transport to reach competition venues.
Will there be Games Lanes during Islamic Games?
Yes, during Islamic Games, dedicated Games Lanes will be implemented, which will connect the competition and non-competition venues. The Games Lanes will be used exclusively for the Games traffic, and will be marked with clear signage and delineation and only Games vehicles with special permits will be allowed to use these lanes.
The normal city traffic will be restricted to use the remaining lanes.
It will operate non-stop and will be monitored through CCTV cameras and enforced by Baku Traffic Police on the ground. Specific legislation will impose heavy fines on those who violate the Games Lanes.
The Games Lanes will be effective through 1-25 May, 2017.
Where the Games Lanes are expected to be implemented?
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue: its length is 9.0 km; it connects east and west, AVL with Silk Way (circular) road through Tbilisi and Moscow avenues.
- Silk Way (circular): it starts from the Shooting Center, ends (for GRN) at Salyan highway. It is broad, with mainly 110 km/h speed limit and no traffic lights. Its length is 14.0 km, so it takes 10 minutes to drive it all.
- Salyan Highway: it is in a very good condition, express way, and it connects Silk Way Road with Bibiheybat Road. Its length is 5.5 km.
- Bibiheybat Road 1: it starts from Bibiheybat Mosque, and leads directly to Flag Square, passing through European Games Park. Its length is 3,4 km to EGP and 4.6 km to Flag Square.
- Bibiheybat Road 2: the part from EGP roundabout to 20-ci sahe at Bayil settlement. Its length is 2.0 km (BAY).
- Neftchilar Avenue: the part of this avenue starting from Flag Square, leads to Baku Sports Hall (BSH). It is a broad road and its distance (from Flag Square to BSH) is 2.0 km.
- Gara Garayev: the entire road. Its length 5.8 km. (SAR)
- Ataturk avenue: from Ziya Bunyadov ave. to Vagif ave. Its length is 1.6 km. (TBS)
- Fatali Khan Khoyski str.: from Ataturk ave. to bridge U-turn on Koroglu Rahimov str. Its length is 0.7 km. (TBS)
- Vagif avenue: from entrance to tunnel to Hanifa Alasgarov str. Its length is 0.8 km. (HAA)
- Hanifa Alasgarov str.: from Vagif ave. to Jalil Mammadguluzadeh str. Its length 1.6 km. (HAA)
- Tbilisi avenue: from the exit of HAA to Abdulvahab Salamzadeh str. Its length is 1.0 km. (HAA)
- Abdulvahab Salamzadeh str.: from Tbilisi avenue to Ziya Bunyadov avenue. Its length is 1.8 km. (HAA)
- Boyukshor Highway: the part of the highway starting from Koroglu metro station up until the start of Airport highway. Its length is 2.0 km. (GYD)
Travelling to/ from the Olympic Stadium for Opening and Closing Ceremonies
How can I reach the Olympic Stadium for Opening and Closing Ceremonies?
Spectators will ONLY be able to use the Metro and Express Buses to arrive and depart from the Olympic Stadium.
No parking is available for spectators both inside and around the venue and taxis will not be allowed to approach the Stadium.
Special traffic measures (i.e. road closures) will be in place on the Opening & Closing Ceremony days – please consider this when you plan your commute.
The nearest metro station serving the Olympic Stadium is “Koroghlu”. It is approximately a 20-minute walk to the Olympic Stadium.
During the Opening Ceremony day (May 12) and Closing Ceremony day (May 22), the metro will be free of charge for spectators with a valid ticket or ticket purchase confirmation.
The Express Buses will be arranged from various parts of the city (Metro Ganjlik, Metro 20 Yanvar, Metro Gara Garayev) for transporting spectators to the Olympic Stadium during the Opening and Closing Ceremony days. The Express Bus Terminal is a 5-minute walk from the Olympic Stadium. Express Bus services will be free of charge for spectators with a valid ticket or ticket purchase confirmation.
